Our carving school is located in Townsend, Tennessee at Nawger Nob.

SMOKY MOUNTAIN SCHOOL OF WOODCARVING CLASS SCHEDULE

A $25.00 deposit is required for all classes refundable ONLY if you cancel at least 2 weeks before class start date. Make checks payable to the instructor.

Bring any tools you may have BUT you must have your own tools. Dust collectors are provided at each station. Tools may be purchased during class. Check with the instructor prior to class if you are unsure of your experience level or any tool requirement. You may leave a message for any instructor by calling 800-541-5994.

Class start time is 9:00 and ends at 5:00 pm each day or at discretion of instructor.

There are motels, rental cabins and campgrounds nearby. Call the Townsend Visitor center at 800-525-6834 for information. We recommend you check out motels in nearby Maryville (about 20 minute drive from Townsend) for more reasonably priced motels during peak tourist season.

There are lots of restaurants nearby with one in walking distance. Happy Carving!
