STANDARD GREEN COMPOUND

MICRO FINE GREEN COMPOUND

I like the gold compound a lot and it seems to hone great, sticks to the wheel better than the standard green compound and puts a nicer polish on the tool.

For a finer and better polish use the micro green compounds.

Which ever compound you choose just charge up the buffing wheel and buff.  Once the wheel is charged you won't need much after that unless you are honing a newly sharpened tool.  The green, white or gold compounds are best for keeping an edge on a blade.
